Cuina Oberta is back again this autumn and, as always, Ma Khin Café is taking part. From next Monday, 9 November through till Wednesday 29 November, you can make the most of our menu conceived especially for the occasion.
This year we are joining in the Cuina Oberta Experiences with a cooking demo on “Gluten-free Thai food” scheduled for this coming 15 November at 7:00 pm.
During the demo we will be preparing three dishes from our special menu for Cuina Oberta, focused on the aromatic food of ancient Siam:
- Son tam: the most popular salad in Thai cooking.
- Thai sausages.
- Green curry artichokes.
Cuina Oberta, a festival for foodies
The Cuina Oberta festival is a twice-yearly gastronomic event held in Valencia, in which a large number of the city’s restaurants take part. During the festival, restaurants offer special menus designed especially for the occasion.
This year’s autumn edition, to be held from 9 to 19 November, is introducing a new section called “Experiences”, which includes a host of events ranging from wine tastings to workshops and other activities conceived to give the public an insider experience of high-end local cuisine. In our case, as we said earlier, we will be taking part with a cooking demo you are going to love.
Come to our cooking demo and enjoy a vibrant buzzing night where you will learn how to cook a few signature Thai recipes, as well as dining with the chef and a select number of fellow diners interested in southeast Asian food.
