Ma Khin renews itself: we are temporarily closing to transform our space

calendario

They say that to keep growing it is essential to renew oneself. At Ma Khin, we have been committed to a cuisine of encounter for ten years, a space where cultures, languages and gastronomic traditions from different corners of the world come together. But like everything in life, we evolve, learn and look for new ways to express who we are.

That is why we have decided to pause and undertake an integral transformation, starting with the refurbishment of our premises. During the 17th, 18th and 19th, as well as from the 24th to the 27th of February, our restaurant will be closed to carry out the works and restructuring of the space. However, we don’t want our diners to miss their Ma Khin fix! That’s why we’ll be open on weekends, ready to do what we do best: cook with passion and create unforgettable experiences around the table.

This change is not just a question of aesthetics, but an evolution in our way of understanding and transmitting our philosophy. We want every corner of Ma Khin to reflect our essence: a culture in constant movement, where integration, diversity and cuisine without borders are the protagonists.

Since our beginnings, we have understood gastronomy as a journey that goes beyond ingredients and recipes, that is rooted in the stories of those who came before us and is nourished by the encounters with those who visit us every day. Over the years, we have learned from our customers, from our travels, from the different culinary experiences and from the little stories that are told around a shared table.

We want everyone who walks through our doors to feel that they are entering a place with soul, a place where every element tells a story and where every bite carries a piece of our own.

Renovating our space isn’t about changing who we are, it’s about expressing our identity with even more strength and character. It means continuing to be committed to a cuisine that crosses borders, that respects local products and that, at the same time, embraces techniques and ingredients from different corners of the world. It means consolidating ourselves as a place where gastronomy is a vehicle for understanding and coexistence.

This transformation process is also a tribute to our history. Since we opened our doors, we have been inspired by Ma Khin’s legacy, his ability to adapt and his love of cuisine as a form of communication and cultural transmission. Now, we want our space to speak the same language, to reflect that philosophy of life.

To all of you who have accompanied us on this journey, we thank you for your patience and support in this process of change. We look forward to welcoming you to this new chapter in our history.

See you soon in the new Ma Khin, a place where our culture and history pulsate in every corner.
